I am trying to search and check fuses and relays but nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. Fuse 24 seems to be ok no splits.Pulled Relay 34 and used a multimeter on the fuse box inlays and not getting 12 volts. Checked compressor connection for cracks or splits, not finding anything. Need some help Thanks. Bill, can you help me with this Thanks Chris
I really don't know what the exact problem was, but the relay # 34 tested good with 0ohms and the fuse 24 was also good so I am assuming It was a loose connection at the compressor. My car was recently serviced with a new a/c belt a couple of weeks ago and maybe the tech did not fully engage the connection, but now a/c blows cold and stays on. so I am happy.
Now next thing I have to finish off is that ignition switch contacts. I am sure they are getting hot causing my DIC readout to read 12.7 volts when car is running for about 30min. The actual male pin looked somewhat burned so I need to clean that when I get some time this weekend.
Thanks again for your input 8VETTE7
