Default Turn signal issue, oh boy

So I replaced my hazard switch a week ago due to inoperable turn signals. I put an AC Delco switch in and have not had a problem since. Until today. Today, on the same ride, both front turn signals stop working. I pulled into a lot and checked, both front out and the rear lights are not blinking together. They are a fraction of a second apart.

If it even possible that both lights burned out at almost the same time? Is it possible the one week old switch is bad? I'm stuck at work but will check the bulbs when I get home.

Anything else to look at?

Thanks

Solved: So my issue was turn signals in the front were not working as well as the DRL. Sometimes they would fast blink in the car, sometimes both turn signals would fast blink in the car (but no light outside). It ended up being a ground problem.

On the right (passenger side) frame rail, right under one of the hoses that goes to the coolant tank, there is a 'splice pack'. That splice pack does not have anything to do with your front lights. However, if you remove that splice pack, there is a ground wire underneath it That is the main ground for your front lights. I had a build up of corrosion etc that I cleaned up and it solved my issue. Side note- I did take the splice pack apart and cleaned it at well since it was getting the green crusties.

For future reference, the hazard switch can not cause individual signal lights to fail. For example, it can't cause the front right to not be flashing when the right signal is on and the rear right lights are flashing.

Yes, I saw that while doing my research. I had replaced the switch a week ago for erratic turn signals but this was a completely different problem. I love in the north east and salt from snow removal is a bear on cars.
