When I went to change the trans reaarend fluid about three quarts came out OK I ran it a litttle longer on the edge than most..on the edge which was my reason fro checking it in the first place. turns out all I need is three quarts, does this make sense to anybody? The autopaarts sales person sold me a case of the stuff. What am I missing?

Manual trans capacity is about 3 3/4qts according to the owners manual.

Automatic trans capacity is about 5qts also according to the owners manual.

Differential capacity is about 2 quarts but you need the proper additive to be added with that unless the fluid you use already contains it.
It's am automatic
