Default intake mods

I'm installing a carbon fiber air bridge and coupler on a 97 C-5 tomorrow along with a few other goodies. I bought a new air flow temp sensor and would like to know if its better to drill a hole in the air bridge closer to the filter or closer to the coupler. also the 97 has a vaccum line in the existing accordian coupler. I assume that I have to drill a simular hole in the new couper. the temp sensor calls for a 11\16 hole to be drilled. this seems a little large. any help would be appreciated. thanks wcj. :smash:  :yesnod:  :)

Default Re: intake mods (wcj)

Just completed that very same mod for my 2000 coupe. I had to drill a hole into the carbon fiber power duct. I chose to drill it at about the same spot as the original one. I'm assuming a 97's is in the same spot as the 2000. Closer to the coupler. My car didn't have the vacuum hose in the accordian coupler though. 11/16th's was the right size however for the MAT sensor. Used the same rubber plug.

Hope this help's. email or IM me if you have questions.
