Ok. When I did the engine swap I didn't drop the drivetrain. I just pulled the engine off the TT. I only unbolted the bellhousing at the engine.
I got the car up on lift now. The exhaust isn't moving much when I pull down on it. It is close to one side of frame though. Maybe rubbing. Driver side headers also seem reall close to bellhousing. See pics.
This is the other side. A lot of space. Hoping this is it. They are not even.
That is very possible. Hopefully others will see this and comment as well. Better yet, see if you can correct it and take it for a drive. If vibes are gone, you're good!
Yeah. I think I had an exhausts leaks that was causing the exhaust to vibrate. I took it apart and put it back together with new gaskets and tightened everything really good and I don't feel any vibration except the usual stick shift vibration. On vacation this week but next Monday taking it back to tuner. Will let u know how it goes. Thanks
The first place I would check for vibration under load would be the CV axles.
This is the same thing I experienced two months ago. In my case turned out to be the half shafts. I just replaced the cheap CARQUEST shafts (got them at the time because they were the only ones in stock or I would have been stranded) last weekend with OEM half shafts. Vibration gone!
This was the original that required replacement 2 months ago.
These were the cheap replacements I got from CARQUEST. I don't know if they would have held up if my car was STOCK, but pretty sure the CV joints and boots shouldn't do this...
