a/c lights stay on when car is off
When I pulled in the driveway tonight I noticed the a/c control lights were on in my 2001 Z06. I haven't driven the car in a few days and only noticed this now. I started the car, shut it off, messed with the lights and dimmer..... nothing worked... light is still on on the a/c control.
I found another post back in 2012 with the same problem, but there was no later posts of the remedy.

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 min. then reconnect. This should reset things.
I had this happen on mine but I removed the controller to replace a couple of burned out lamps at the same time. After reassembly the issue was gone.

Thanks , I hope that is the case. I am in Central Florida and have my babies tucked in the garage awaiting for the storm to pass. I did disconnect the battery so the lights don't drain the battery.

Had that happen to me once. The HVAC lights are controlled by the BCM. The BCM is a computer and you know what computers do at times, they crash. This was probably some kind of transient electrical condition that removing power corrected.
