How much compression on 94 pump gas?

How much compression on 94 pump gas?

I just bought a set of used MMS heads they should put me at 11.2-1 with a stock head gasket. I am building an all forged bottom end NA motor. I want to run on pump gas should I use a thicker head gasket to drop compression?

If you tune it correctly you probably can run 11.75-12.0:1 on 94 octane but for best results you should use 110 unleaded race gas.

My Cartek 427 runs fine on 93 octane with 11:1. No Sunoco in GA, so 94 octane isn't available here.

110 UN leaded???? Never heard of such a thing. Every track that I have been to on the east coast has either Phillip's or Sunoco race gas and neither of them has anything unleaded over 104 :confused:

I’d stay with 11.0 and below : 1 CR for pump gas….
