i am confused.. it dont take much..

i have an issue with my turn signal...

symptom: my turn signals will work, then they wont. i can hit the flasher switch and boom, now my turn signal works...

now the reading that i have done leads me to replacing the flasher switch. flashers have not stopped working.. why would i have to change that to fix my turn signal switch? dont get me wrong, it looks way easier to switch the flasher then the turn signal bar any day and i wont complain.. thanks for any guidance on this. also i will say that there are not that many videos on line about this what sounds like a common issue.. again thanks for any guidance in advance.

i did a search and i did not see that thread! thank you very much for that!. i am not really one that wants to have an extra switch in another location so i will be taking the dash apart and trying it that way. thanks again for the thread.

Just changed out the hazard switch. Was not hard at all. We will see in time if it actually fixed the issue. Thanks for the link, again. It is/was very helpful!
