I've got the Halltech cold air induction on my car. I changed it over from below the shroud (afraid of water) to above the shroud with a pre-filter. This pre-filter housing has a small hole on top for some sort of hose to fit in it, I think.
I have no hose to put in it. Should I plug the extra hole or am I missing something.
Thanks C5Noir, but what air tube? The car had the Halltech system installed in it when I purchased it and I have no extra tubes to put in it. I went to the Halltech site and on their installation video, it says to cut this small tube at the elbow from the original stock air box but I have no extra small tube.
Does anyone know where the other end of this tube is supposed to hook up to?
I got a Halltech too. There is a curved hose that used to connect to the stock airbox housing (located on the very front, left side, by the left headlight). It has a rubber washer that was attached to it when i disconnected it from the airbox. I took that washer/ring out and connected the hose to the filter. Bottom breathers usually attach a small air filter to the end of this hose, chances are yours have one already.
OK. Thanks guys. After searching around the left front headlight, I found the hose all folded up and hidden. I'm off to the hardware to get a few fittings and hose.
Just another reason to keep in touch with this forum.
Thanks again. :seeya
