I like the idea for 2 reasons; better weight distribution (unlikely anybody not tracking would notice, but still good IMO) and removing the battery from above all those electronics.
I also dislike it for 2 reasons; addition of weight (albeit minimal) and all the work involved (good winter project perhaps).

i have not... not yet any ways.. i think it may be in the plans tho. i will be installing the skip shift probably next weekend. at that time i will pull the battery and inspect under the battery to see if there is any damage from previous ownership and if there is then it will motivate me more to do it. if not then i would be inclined to leave it just because i do my own maintenance and can try and keep it under control.
