That would be great if you could keep me updated. The car I just purchased is being checked now. Trans Fluid Change, oil change, coolant, clutch fluid change, active handling warning is being checked. Probably several weeks before I do the 3 Mods.

I've never had a problem with the forced 1 to 4 shift, I don't lug the engine and rev it out enough to never think about it. I have not had it inconvenience me, save for a couple of left turns without thinking.

In my area, it would be tough to go slow enough to kick in the gas saver.

I think the gizmo that lowers the window from the key fob would be more useful to me.

Ok, here we go.. i just installed the Compliance Parts LMC5, instructions are super easy. i also did the "brown wire mod" that is on page two of the instructions. again once you get to where you are going to put everything back together, stop! take the extra 5 minutes and do the optional steps on page 2.. it will save you in the future. i also had this video playing at the same time i was doing my installation. test drive went great. now on to the skip shift, which may be tomorrow.

i dont really have a problem with it, but there are times it catches me off guard and i didnt like it. i had a challenger that was the same way and i did the same thing to that. it is more of preference thing for me.

The ones recommended by 8VETTE7 are a good choice.

update for the OP,

I installed the skip shift today. works as advertised and was pretty easy of in stall. directions were right to the point and understandable.

part of the instructions gave you an option to where you could cut a wire to get rid of the 1-4 shift light that pops up in the dash however I decided at the time I did not want to do that just yet. I wanted to make sure that I had done everything the right way. over all on a scale of 1-10 10 being the hardest I give this install a 1.

let me know if you decide to do it and if I can be of any assistance.

You mentioned changing the clutch fluid. Unless your car has a bleeder extension that will be all but impossible. I need that mod myself but still not ready for a new clutch yet.
