2003 Anniversay edition/Interior Q
So....I have to replace the interior driver side A-pillar in my 2003 Anniversary Edition Red corvette. Although the sales brochure & the "Corvette Black Book" states that the interior color is SHALE there is actually 2 DIFFERENT COLORS. An "upper color" that the pillars, dash and top of doors have and a second lighter color or "Lower color" beneath the doors and dash. Any 2003 experts out there that can help me on sorting this out?

I agree,
I have, after trying several different brands I like the ColorBond paints best. Just clean the parts well, just before spraying the Adhesion Promoter wipe the part down with light denatured alcohol, spray with Adhesion Promoter, spray several LIGHT coats of color, finish with a Matte clear coat
SEM is also good paint, but I found their colors didn't my OEM match well, but you are going black so matching shouldn't be an issue.
Same steps as ColorBond. Try to use the same companies products throughout the process. Same brand of Adhesion Promoter, Paint Color, and Matte clear coat. I found mixing different companies products can result in the different layers not getting along
