Default Vibration

i have a 2000 corvette and I recently have a vibration in the rear end. It is most noticed around 65mph but is there at all speeds. It vibrates at the rate of 3 seconds smooth and 1 second of vibration. It is mostly noticed in drivers seat but I can still feel it in passenger as well. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I also have a 2000 with the same problem. Not much but just enough to feel it in the seat. Checked everything, tires, balance, etc. Thinking what could it be. Mine turned out to be AC compressor. I've read it could be a number of things. My balancer is starting to wobble but no vibration yet but changing balancer next week for preventive maintenance. Hope you find your problem.

Check all belt driven components eg alternator, water pump, idler pulley etc. Bet one of them is piling up. Good luck.

start with the basics and look at the wheels really carefully to make sure that a wheel weight hasn't come off. maybe a self adhesive one came loose. look for telltale signs of a missing weight and make sure all the wheel lug nuts are in place.

I had something similar happen when one of my wheels got a slight bend on the inner barrel.
