Default OBD2 connector android

This may be a stupid question and I am sorry, but I am just asking if a D-CAN OBD2 BMW cable which connects to USB and then with an adapter to micro USB for my BMW for tuning via android.

Is this kind of cable the same as the corvette's OBD2 connector? Will it work with any apps to read/reset codes on the vette?

Why do you want an App to read the codes for your vette?

I doubt that it would be easier than just bringing up your codes with the Corvette's DIC.

Plugging in a cable... and using a touch screen instantly is easier... than an antiquated interface where you press buttons multiple times and the computer rapidly flips through codes for you to jot down...

I have a wifi odb2 connector and I have an app called Dash Command. I use my iphone to connect to the adapter and dash command reads codes and reads everything from map, timing, coolant to torque to Maf. It does more if you buy the extra PIDs.

It pulls all corvettes codes and resets them if need be. Tells you which are in ready mode and which are not for emissions.

I prefer an ELM327 bluetooth adapter. You can get them for like 15 bucks online. I use the torque app with it. Great stuff, and you can use it on multiple vehicles. It also gives you a lot more information than you can access in the DIC, plus some other cool features. The DIC is a PITA, but an invaluable tool for someone without an OBDII scanner.

I have the ELM bluetooth adapter and use the torque app, too. I use it on my two Corvettes, my Explorer and friends cars. It's a super tool for about $25.

Which one did you get? I have a tech 2 but it's big and clunky. Just want something to log that doesn't take up a seat in the passenger side
