The ATI damper is an aftermarket replacement for the harmonic damper on the front of the crankshaft. Generally, aftermarket dampers are used for high rpm applications where the stock rubber ring unit might come apart.

A new ATI balancer is about $ 450-475.00. They are a zero balanced unit that is SFI approved and is mainly designed for high horspower and/or high rpm applications. They are also rebuildable.
Note that they are only 10 % underdriven vs. a ASP that is 15%.
If you order one make sure they give you the A/C pulley!
