Update: Broke short output shaft
Well I just got off the phone with Chris @ Speed Demon and once again he is going to come through. He said that he just sent a factory output shaft to the machine shop so they could get started making a replacement. Chris also said that wait time would be 5-7 days if they have to make a new CNC program for the shorter shaft but if it's shorter version of the longer shaft production time should be quicker. Any questions please post them.

Phillp, too bad you're down now, a bunch of us were at MIR yesterday. I was hoping to meet you, and pick your brain about some stuff. Good luck with your repair.

I wish I could have went down to MIR also. I'll take some pics of the new output shaft and the installation procedure. I am going to pull the rear out and get started on the swap tonight. Hopefully I will have everything finished for next friday. My motor is getting some work as well but I am not going disclose exactly what but it is going to make some more horsepower.
