You just need to splice into a brake line. You'll need some brake line, a couple of fittings for the line lock, a flairing tool, a tiny pipe cutter, and a pipe bender (or a beer bottle like I used  ). You can chop up your stock line to get the fittings, or try to find replacement fittings from a parts store (the things are nearly impossible to find from what I remember).

The electrical part is simple of course.

I ended up using braided line, so no bending tools or flaring tools required...made the installation nice and clean :D

lemme see if I can find some of those old threads :)

The only problem with that is the part # is wrong, the one you list is a metric to metric adapter.
7974 is the correct # for a 12mm to 3/8 adapter.
Here's a site that lists three different brands of adapters http://www.stant.com/brochure.cfm?br...ocation_id=177

ADAPTER STANDARD TO METRIC BUBBLE
Edelmann #265000
Everco #3014
Weatherhead #7974
Female Inverted Flare Seat 3/16" (3/8-24 thread)
Male Bubble Flare 12-1.0MM

I used the Edelman #265000, I found it at a local Garnett auto supply.

Other than that I did mine just like yours, Eric
:D
I'll post pics of it later

 I have the weatherhead bag sitting right here, pn 7936.

Looks like you got it covered with your complete cross reference there.
