Default Video: Corvette Belt (AC and Accessory) and Idler Pulley Replacement

Here is what I did to get rid of the annoying squeaking noises that I heard coming from under the hood. Also have a comparison of the GM idler pulley and a Duralast replacement. Hopefully this will help someone find where that annoying squeak / noise is coming from. There are three videos:

1. How to remove and install the belts
2. How to find where the squeak is coming from and replace the idler pulley
3. Comparison of the GM vs Duralast idler pulley

Just fyi... that pulley has a replaceable bearing. The number is on it the bearing face...and you get it at Napa for about $7.
and your all done.

Great info. Do you have any details on the steps required to replace the bearing?

Press off, press on. Don't hammer it.
number is on the dark seal of the bearing.
