What's the brown wire in the multifunction switch and what might cause this kind of arcing?
Pulled the switch out because of headlight issues and found some melty action on the brown wire. Fixing the car side of the connector appears to be a pain; the MFS is getting replaced most likely anyway.
Lighting issues: sentinel is acting whack and shows no way of turning it off in the DIC. Light buckets pop up, low beams don't come on but everything else works. Operating the switch will not lower the lights. Bypassing the dacm they will go up and down. I've swapped to another used dacm with no change. All fuses and grounds seem to be in order.
I don't really want to shell out $300 for a new dacm but I'm at a loss for next steps.
