Hi guys i need some help getting started tuning with e85 all the hard stuff is done lines injectors etc. What changes need to be made in the tune to get it start, idle,and drive down the road. Its a SD 2000 turbo corvette. need to be able to drive safely to a shop to have it tuned on there dyno.

do you have hptuners?... it might be best to have them write you a new file and then you can rewrite it yourself and drive to the shop... they shouldn't charge you any more than what you are paying for the tune to do that

I do have HP Tuners Im a Ok tuner with gas But this is my first E85 try just looking for some tips to get me up and running on corn gas.

from what I remember my tuner basically doubled the fuel tables to start out with... I drove it around for a couple of weeks like that (obviously staying out of boost) to get any leftover pump gas out of it (since I am running e85 only and not flex fuel) and then took it to him to finish it up... I always check the mixture of what I put in the tank and I have an e% gauge in the car as well, since I am e85 only if the content swings in either direction the afr will also change... I have heard that at most it may be half a point rich or lean depending on the swing from what you are tuned for and since the octane of ethanol is so high people usually don't have any problems with knock unless their tune is on the edge but I check it anyway because it is a simple test, with pump gas you never really know what you're getting until you have problems
