I recommend a MDI clone or vxdiag nano, which will show you everything a factory tech2 can.

When i purchased mine I also brought a 5ft extension cable so I can have the unit under the hood while working on it.

OP asked for obd2. So that is what I replied to. Of course it is his choice and maybe he meant that he wanted more that obd2.
