We use the wired version of this one. Tons of features. You can even get GM custom PIDs like transmission temp.

http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/

I don't know of any scan tool that can do A/F.

Does this access the ABS, airbag and propriatary modules for the C5? Most OBD2 scanners won't.

I recommend a MDI clone or vxdiag nano, which will show you everything a factory tech2 can.

IMO if your getting a scan tool you really need one that can interface with every module.

I have a Tech 2 but I also use this:
It's a Launch Tech CRP123 . The CRP 123P accesses Engine, Transmission, ABS and Airbag (SRS) systems. It features an intuitive interface and supports the latest OBD II test modes 1-10. Graph, record, and playback crucial data to more efficiently diagnose drive-ability issues.

FEATURES
– Retrives Manufacturer Specific Enhanced Data for Domestic, Asian and European vehicles
– Reads and Records Data Streams for ABS, SRS, Transmission and Engine
– Auto ID Vehicles, Auto Module Search & Fast Protocol ID
–Reads and clears codes on Engine, Transmission (A/T), ABS, and Airbag (SRS) systems – on all makes and all models (16 Pin)
– Support for all 10 test modes of OBD II with Enhanced OBD II Mode 6
– Retrieves generic and manufacturer specific codes – Current, Permanent & Pending
– View freeze frame data and I/M Readiness monitor status
– Graph, record, and replay data in full color
– Menu with DTC definitions in English, Spanish & French
– Intuitive Interface and Button Operation with Sleek, Rugged Design 4.0” TFT full color display
– Free Internet updates (USB 2.0)

When i purchased mine I also brought a 5ft extension cable so I can have the unit under the hood while working on it.
And the ABSOLUTE Best part is..............you can get it for about $150.00

OP asked for obd2. So that is what I replied to. Of course it is his choice and maybe he meant that he wanted more that obd2.

Does the Launch Tech CRP123 allow you to view historical vehicle trouble codes even if the check engine light is off? Thanks.
