Are you running your RAM with the stock flywheel?
Who did you order your RAM from?
Which part numbers did you go with?
How much was the clutch?
Does it chatter much?
Thanks
It is pretty much a necessity to use an adjustable master cylinder with any clutch so you can get a precise engagement setting. Mcleod makes a great one! If you have a 2001 or newer then you can use your stock slave cylinder but if it is a 2000 or older, get the ZO6 slave cylinder. The RAM clutch is next on my list when my CARTEK clutch goes.
Are you running your RAM with the stock flywheel?
Yes, resurface the stock flywheel. Who did you order your RAM fromhttp://www.summitracing.com
Part #s:
RAM-402
RAM-6130 How much was the clutch?
$329 shipped Does it chatter much?
Initially it did for about 500 miles, now I have none.
You'll also need an adjustable master cylinder of choice, whether it be Cartek, McLeod or if I had to do over again the one from APRacing (sold by moreperformance.com)
The only mod you have to do the the clutch is to take a 15/64 drill bit and just drill out the three smaller pressure plate holes on the pressure plate so all of the 6 pressure plate bolts fit. Use red loctite on the flywheel and pressure plate bolts.
The ZO6 slave can be had the cheapest from:
