Broken Radiator Drain Plug Removal
The pin on the drain plug in my radiator appears to be broken, as it turns more than 90 degrees, and is not letting coolant out.
Should I clock it at a particular position before trying to remove it with pliers, or just go ahead and pull it out because the pin seems broken anyway?

Yeah, just pull it all the way out with some pliers. That's what I had to do.
I bought my replacement at O'Reilly's for around 7 bucks. They had 4 in stock.
Once you get the old one out you can shine a flashlight in the hole to see how the new one goes in.
Such a crappy design. The old petcocks worked on everything for thousands or millions of years and some dip designed this stupid thing.
