Yeah, that's right!! :yesnod: I just picked up the car from Mike Norris today and the car runs like a Fu%#'in bear !!:eek: The new ARE Ported Stage 2 Heads and ported TB resulted in 15 RWHP and 18 RWT.. for a toatal of 388 RWHP/378RWT:smash: :smash: After some A/F issues and some fine tuning the car is now running really well. You might think that this not a significant improvement but considering that the increase is not just peak but a true gain across the board and the revs are coming as fast as I can use them . The car is breathing soooo.. much better. The 1-2 shift is head splitting with the Transgo kickin my butt with 10 ft chirps ..the car nearly goes sideways..the 2-3 at WOT is a dream come true..Transgo again kicks me so hard that the car's momentum is everlasting and now I'm in 3 ..just wonderful!!..pulling hard as ever and no end to the power...Really nice!:yesnod: I also had Mike install the Hurst Line Loc and that is also a nice feature for me at the track...no more standing on the brake and having the car creep forward.
During the drive home (3 hours) on the Fla Turnpike I got a chance to try out the new H.P./TQ.....All I can say is WOW!!:eek: This puppy is ready for the track ..I mean really ready for the track..The top end is absolutely rev heaven and the power seems just endless! :yesnod: From 80 mph I down shift to 3 and just hit just half throttle this car jumps ..within mere seconds I'm at 130 mph and the car has more and that's only 1/2 throttle!! :smash:
I couldn't be more satisfied with Mike Norris and his staff for the professional work he does!! :yesnod: It's worth every grimace and frustrating moment while I waited over three weeks for everything to come together. Every detail was taken care of..just great! Wade Stevens of Agostino racing Engines deserves alot of credit for his professional attitude AND patient hand in preparing AND following through with the install..Both are first class people to work with and I would recommend both Mike and Wade anytime!! Truly good people! :yesnod:

Sounds awesome Vince. Glad to hear you picked up more power with some fine tuning with air/fuel, etc. You will certainly own the 11s in just a couple of days! You deserve it man!

Awesome #s but I do have a question. What made you deviate from Peak horsepower? A few days ago you were all bummed out about not picking up alot of peak horsepower. Now you picked up 15rwhp and the combo rocks. :yesnod: What made you look at the power under the curve? ;) :D :D :D :D :D ;) I told you its all about whats under the curve. Lets see some 11.50s.

Phil..It must have been the relearn process ..the next day after a cold start the #'s jumped up..In fact Wade tells me there is even more in the engine with some PCM programming and perhaps installing the '98 fuel injectors which deliver about 2.4lbs more of fuel than the 2001 injectors to fatten up the A/F which is now at 13.1 and the timing is at 31degrees..so 12.5-12.7 should give me a few more ponies. I'm going to run the car a while and see how it learns.. :yesnod: For now the car is running great !!.I can really feel the torque especially on the top end..Thanks for the help:D
