I just had new cv axles installed 4 months ago and noticed this after a drive. Does it need to be changed? Haven’t noticed any grease slicking around. It looks to be collapsed.

Is that the inner boot closest to the rear diff? Id be worried it would tear on something with the size of it now haha Sucks the OEM inner boot is discontinued. I just replaced my outers and the OEM boots are getting scarce.
