Leaky fill tank hose

I have cut the hose and clamped the hose a nd double clamped the hose to always end up with this. Do i need a new cap?

What PSI is your cap 15 or 18? Also the surge tanks are known to crack and leak

^what he said. GM 10405218 (on my '99 at any rate). About $100, imitation versions can be had for even less.

I checked the coolant tank nipple and found it to be cracked and leaking.
There is an Exciting video of it that will not link for some reason.

Not a great place to try to save money. Buy a new surge tank....should come with a new pressure cap and replace the hose. Getting stuck is a bad option.

New tank is being shipped.
