Ignition Switch Indicator Ring
Any ideas on how to fix the indicator ring on the Ignition switch. It is loose and moves around. Key still works fine and no issue starting. Just the position indicator moves. Thanks for any Help

The ring is separate from the switch, just replace it.

Will the ring being loose cause a problem starting or is it just cosmetic??

If you decide to replace it make sure you get all of the old plastic pieces out. Some very small pieces stayed in the retainer clips on mine and it would not snap in. I could have easily broken the new one if I had not been paying attention. Also be careful and follow some instructions on how to remove the radio bezel. A previous owner had busted mine all to hell. I glued it back together with some success but eventually found such a good deal ($20) on one that I replaced it. Good Luck

Just jam it around blindly till it slides in. That's what I always do.
