C5 1999 Corvette 6 speed won't start
Periodically while all electrics work there isn't a sound when turn the key with clutch pressed to floor After letting it sit a few minutes it generally starts. Battery and Starter and Security system seems to be working right. Very unreliable situation. My mechanic cleaned the chip in the key and thought it fixed. Any suggestions.

You are right there is no crank condition. The security light is off. I just turned the key on and the security light came on for a few seconds and then went off.
I then tried to start car as normal and it fired up immediately. I might mention it has been running perfectly.
