Default question about using ls7 clutch

so as all the threads i have read you need to match balance your c5 clutch to your new one or take a chance on vibration .
What if you use a ls7 clutch isn't it much bigger how do i get ti to balance to a ls1 clutch ?

If you upgrade to the C6 LS3/7 clutch you have to do it as an assembly - meaning you change the; flywheel, clutch disc and pressure plate all together at once. The LS engines are internally balanced and each of the flywheel/clutch assemblies are balanced as well.

last I heard you can't even get the old ones ...everything is the LS7 style now for the C5's...Gene at Cultrag usually has a pkg deal going ...did a few of these in our C5's...worked flawlessly...no issues its a straight swap

Watch out that you get the recessed LS7 type flywheel instead of standard flat face!
