Re: Chicago Vettes, What do ya run? (Ruff Ryder)
11.68 at 116.70 with 60ft of 1.649, naturally aspirated heads and cam with stock bottom end/cubes, on my 98 A4 C5. That was after only 4 passes with new converter and 3.73s and with practice and fall weather 11.5s should be a no brainer!:D Hope to make it to Byron for that 11.5 time slip on 10-26-02 wheather permitting, etc.

Aquaman,
Are you gonna quit picking on all of those mustangs and join us at Byron on the 26th?
Byron is about an hour west of Naperville. Well, probably a 1/2 hour for you!
I have a race lined up with TapDown from the kills section up by Cleveland on the 2nd. I am hoping to be back In Chi. on the 1st to finish the N20 but don't think I can make the 26th as much as I'd like too. :(
Jeremy,
I did not line up with him, however his best time that day was 13.6x’s. He was practicing different launch RPM’s. I will have to look at the Event print-out again. There was another LT4 running the same times that day 13.6x-ish (the guy from Bolingbrook who won the bracket finals). My best that day was a 13.098 at 111 with a 2.196 60’.
We were ALL having trouble at the line that day. 2.2 and above 60’s all day long.
Can’t wait to get back out there in some cooler weather!
Hopefully DShark9 and some C5’s (HINT, HINT) join us on the 26th!
I hear there's an unassuming-looking white '82 with a 427 small block and TT's lurking out there. Anyone come across it yet? I think 1200+ hp would leave an impression.
kwik8racr,
Can's wait to see that Monster Car of yours!
I will be there Don, as long as it is not snowing by then! Still working out some "bugs" but it's getting there. Hope the weather cooperates, and everyone shows up, so we can have one last day of fun, before we hibernate the toys! :yesnod:
