Default Oil Leak 2001 c5 ls1

I was cleaning up under my hood and saw that PCV line on the passenger side of the car was not connected to the rear of the valve cover, being the type of guy that likes to take care of every detail I bought new hose and correct this. Next time I drove the car and parked I noticed it leaked oil. I have been trying to figure this out for a month, going over every thing I have done to the car as well as cleaning the under side of engine 2 times and then checking for the leak. I did finally remember about the routing of the PCV lines. I have no idea why but when I put them back as they where it stop the leak when the engine is running.

Again the lines as they are now start at the intake manifold, then the pcv valve connect and then all the way around the back of the engine to the driver side valve cover. I know that all the diagrams I can find of the ls1's show the hose is to attach to both valve covers but for what ever reason this one was not and doing so makes it blow oil out of the seals when running. Has anyone else ever seen this. Thanks
