I am about to put LG Pro Long tube Headers, Random Tech Cats and LG Cross Pipe running into the stock Titanium exhaust on a 2003 Z06. I will also install a Callaway Honker CAI, 1 degree cooler plugs, wires and cool sox. I ran this combination on a 2004 Convertible with Corsa Indy Pace Car exhaust and never had the car tuned. It ran well.

Will this setup on the 2003 LS6 require a tune, or will the ECU compensate adequately for now? Thanks for any feedback.

It may have ran well to you but it could've run better and more safely with a tune.

You can drive it with those mods and it will be fine but it will run better and be safer for your motor if you get a good tune. Won't hurt to drive it untuned but the risk of motor damage is higher, I probably wouldnt do much wot driving, if any.

I have done similar changes to a 03Z and it drove fine, but power actually dropped. It also triggered the SES / CEL light. Had it tuned, power increased over stock and no more lights. So, you can drive it, but get it tuned.

No need for the colder plug, put the stock plug in it.

With a tune it should make 385 ish to the wheels
