Trans Cooler Purchase
Happy New Year Everyone.
I am searching the Net for Tranny Cooler info. I was at the track and the car flashed at me telling me the Tranny was too hot. So I asked her to get out..lol kidding. Anyway I want to hit the track a few times a year and would rather keep it cool with a cooler.
So I have found the B&M 70268 seems to be the best solution.
Any thoughts or advice on install? Will this kit have all I need?
Thank you very much.

I installed the B&M 70268 several months ago in my 03 due to high trans temps. If I was to do it over I would order a larger size cooler but stick with the rigid stacked-plate design. Perhaps the B&M 70266 or even the B&M 70274.
While my install has helped I hoped for a greater reduction in temps. I also installed an electric pusher fan on the front of the cooler.
As to the install, I doubt the kit will have all you need depends on just where and how you mount the cooler. I mounted mine to the lower right side of the AC condenser and routed my lines up and over the top of the condenser/radiator stack but under the upper support. This did require some trimming on the bottom of the upper support to allow the lines/hoses to clear without being pinched. Connecting the lines to the upper AC line (return) on the side of the radiator requires either the correct size adapter for the AC cooler line where it enters the radiator. Or cutting the upper AC line at the location where it has a rubber hose insert and splicing in the new cooler line which is what I did.
Good luck with your install
