C-5 Charging issues
Having charging issues with my 2004 C-5 Corvette. Normally my Battery voltage gauge is at 12.5 to 13 when running. (less at low rpm - higher at high rpm. Of recent my gauge runs between 13.8 and 14.3 the majority of the time. A local battery shop determined that my 4 year old battery was getting tired and needed replacement which I did. I charged the battery for 24hrs with a small trickle charger. Nothing has changed. Is it possible to overcharge the new battery and cause damage,? What concerns should I have if any.?
