Service ABS codes
Hello everyone,
I recently started getting Service ABS and traction control messages for my 98 Convertible Automatic. I looked up the codes and pulled them:
C1226H
C1233H
C1255H
and C1288H, A steering wheel sensor was left unplugged by mistake so it should be taken care of now.
I'm going to have the shop Check out my front right sensor to see if it has gone bad. I'm hoping this will take care of the problem but I'm worried I might have a bad EBCM. I saw in another thread that my year's EBCM cannot be repaired? I emailed ABSFixer about my problem and I'm waiting to hear back. I have seen other sites that list the 98 Vette as serviceable but I'd like to find out what my options are.
Also, is the EBCM on my car located in the rear of the vehicle? I ran my Vin and it says my car was made in Aug of 1997. Thanks for your help!
