Holley tall valve covers...anybody?
Hello fellas. Piecing my motor build together and looking into the Holley valve covers. I’m just wondering if anybody is running the tall Holley valve covers? I searched and I didn’t get much info. Seems like one person had them with no issue with alternator, which is the main problem. Running yella terra 1.7 rockers so I’m either gonna run the regular Holley valve covers with maybe the spacer yella terra offers or just the tall covers by themselves. Anybody using the tall ones ?

I put on the Yella Terra 1.8 this fall. I too didn;t have enough clearance.
I didn;t want to use aftermarket covers , and the spacers end are expensive and
potentially give two places to leak..
I don't remember the part number , but BTR sells the "thicker" gaskets made
by Yella Terra.. They worked perfectly for me

be certain about what?... it was pretty clear that they do fit except for the coils which you can either use one bolt to hold yours down or get the newer style coils

Yea your right. I already have newer ls3 coils. So I’m gonna pull the trigger on these. Thanks fellas. I appreciate it
