Power steering issue
2000 coupe....slowly turning causes "klunk" sound: sway bar end links replaced, rack and pinion replaced, new tie rods---steering shaft checked out ok.....now when car is started and turned r or l the wheel doesn't want to turn just like on a car with no power steering at all...when it "breaks loose" it turns fine and does so for the the rest of the day as if all was fine....just that 1st turn of the wheel .....any schematics of rack and pinion, steering shaft and power steering unit....fluid is at ok level as well...

2 things popped into my numbskull...Rack wasn't rebuilt properly ( if it is a rebuilt unit ) or P/S Pump on it's way out.
Some where in the mix pressure leaks by internally and it takes time to build before you regain normal "Power Steering"
