Electronic shock bushing repack?
Howdy C-Vette compadres,
I own a 2001 C5 Base Convertible with under 40,000 miles. I purchased the vehicle a year and a half ago.
The vehicle has the electronic adjustable shock option. One of the shock bushings degraded.
My mechanic (independent, though worked as a GM certified line mechanic some years ago) says the shock bushings can NOT be replaced - that a new shock is required.
Is this correct?
