I'm a factory finish type of guy, and don't like the clear lense look. These are my second pair of aftermarket DRL bulbs that turned from Amber to white.
Does anyone have recommendations of bulbs that don't turn white after a couple weeks?
I really would recommend going to amber LEDs. You can use the amber only LEDs rather than the switchback LEDs that a lot of people here like to use. 3157 amber only do exist. And do a hyperflash harness while you're at it.
The reason is that the housings that GM built really cannot withstand the heat the bulbs produce when they're on all the time. The housing will eventually crack under the heat, water will get in, the bulb will burn out quicker and the socket can corrode, if all that hasn't happened already. LEDs will run cooler and are less likely to cause the housing to crack.

Finished the rears last week, just did the fronts today with new lenses as well. Huge difference. Still has stock look, but brighter and cleaner flashes. Gives it an updated look. Thanks!
