I've completed the install and updated the instructions.
if you have any questions let me know, the installation is straight forward.PBS is the easier of the two modules just a lot of soldering since you are dealing with 12 Awg wires, but they are all in the same area. The passive key goes slower since you are running wiring into the door panel and over to the BCM.
I had a little bad luck in that the column lock relay went bad during the install, I though I had fried the BCM somehow. But, after a little troubleshooting the lock/unlock relay was fried, will replace at a later date.
Update after 10 months, keyless works flawlessly, best comfort mod I've done to date
May switch to a C6 steering wheel, still on the fence, but this winter will decide.

I have no commercial interest with manufacturer. The reasons I choose them are; specifications (current capabilities of the PBS module) seem to match the GM ignitions system well, they have been around for better than 10 years, requested information from their support line and received answers in a timely fashion.

Not yet this will be a winter project, all I've done is purchased the relay needed and VAT's resistor module. The only reason I did fabricated the resistor bypass it was just as inexpensive to buy the potted making the assembly assembly.
