I got Morimoto ones. Other than the fact that I've had 2 of them fail on me, I like them so far. 2 year warranty and very easy warranty process. Didn't have to drop the front fascia, just got at them through the brake vents.

1 out 3 worked lol not the positive review I was hoping for. I was checking out “Corvette Mods” brand. Thought it was kind of gimmicky but no doubt cool and different.
2 out of 4 actually. The first one died after about 9 months, and the replacement died a month later, ironically enough. It's now been a little over a year on one of the originals, and 2 months on the second replacement, daily driven Corvette.

I like the product but that sounds like a pain in the ***. Maybe some others who purchased them could chime in. Thanks

Switchbacks are not a new product. I put my first set in my 99 over 10 years ago and they never failed. When I bought my 03 I moved them over to the 03........still running strong. I bought my set from Radioflyer after having a couple of other brands that were actually too long to fit in the stock housings.

That’s good to hear they have been around for a while. I’m not a fan of buying products in the early stages of its design for obvious reasons. I’m still on the fence though. Which brand did you buy ?

Our revised switchbacks are the first of their kind. Instead of 60 (30 white/30 amber) small 1210 SMDs per bulb, the new switchbacks have 39 2826 SMDs per bulb AND each LED has the ability to illuminate 2 different colors -AMBER & WHITE!
What are the benefits?
Brighter - 39 LEDs for each color vs 30 on the old units
Smaller, nicer looking assembly
Each LED 1/3 larger for better dimensional output
New shielded technology
Most Reliable Performance
These advanced LED's allow you to have the amber color emitted during normal day driving, but when you turn on your headlights they switch over to white! This allows you to have a uniform look to your OEM HID headlights at night. Then, when the blinkers are triggered the bulb will switch to just amber to pass inspection!
Misleading marketing aside, Corvettemods doesn't exactly have a good reputation around here.
The fact that the LED can illuminate into two different colors doesn't mean output isn't reduced as compared to white or amber only LEDs. Half of the LED is dedicated to white while the other half is dedicated to amber, which makes it no different from LED bulbs that use separate chips for white and amber. The ebay ones posted above have much better build quality than these IMO.
