Default Clutch sticking

I have had a problem with my clutch pedal sticking in the full depressed position. I can get my toe under it and pop it back up, but am concerned with why it would do this and how to correct it. Anyone else had this problem. I have a 2004 coupe.

Could be the clutch master cylinder, or the slave throw out bearing, or the clutch itself. I replaced the slave throw out bearing, then upgraded to a tick adjustable clutch master cylinder. I’m still having some issues but not as bad as it was. I’m pushing 500 wheel on a stock ls7 clutch with some hard driving on it so I’m upgrading my clutch to a McLeod dual disc clutch. My theory is try the cheapest fixable part first, see if that helps it, then try the next option. Or just say screw it and replace it all

Do the new fluid method--suck old fluid out of canister--put new fluid in--pump clutch up and down 50 times--do it about 4 times--great results with many over the years

Common problem, mine started after installing headers. The only way I was able to fix the issue was to install a tick master. I have installed various clutches new master and slave and changed fluid weekly. In the end the Tick master fixed the issue.
