Hello everyone, I am a newbie here, and I had a question. I have a 99 C5 Vert., and over the weekend I took it to Orlando, about 180 miles, and the air quit working. The little light flashes, but the air doesn't kick on. The car has 57k on it, and I have only had it two months. I checked the fuses and they were OK. I was going to try to replace the relay in the fuse box now. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Mark.

Re: A/C Won't Come On.... (wallstAL)
My blower stopped working the other day. I knew the a/c was good cause I could still feel the cold air at the vent. I remebered a post that said switching the temp from hot to cold will loosen up some type of sticking duct. So I adjusted the temp to 90 and the air started blowing hard out the vents. I went back down to the lowest temp and the air was blowing again. :D Oh welcome to the forum!!
Thanks guys, the blower works like a champ. I bought a tester tonight that will tell me the pressure of a/c 134a in the system, so I will try that tomorrow. Al, if you could somehow let me know what they find, I would be grateful. I am going out of town so the vette will sit until I get back.
Everyone, I appreciate all of your help, and thanks for the welcome. I am glad to finally be a part of the vette world, thanks again, Mark.
