Had RH rearview knocked by stupid and glass popped out. Broken of course, but housing is ok. Thanks Chevrolet for swing-away mirrors. Replacement glass came but it just doesn't "snap into place". Looks like there are two adjustment pins that are in the internal module that look like they are supposed to fit into sockets in the back of mirror. But how does that happen? Do I take the module apart and remove the pins and then stick into mirror back before snapping into place?
Or is there a better way? (Besides the dealer of course!)
Looked thru-out the forum and couldn't find a thread on this, or prior issues that addressed it, so any help would be appreciated.
