I hope someone here can help me. I bought Sparco Evo L's, and then Marrad's low profile slider assembly. I got everything put together but the inside front of the seat rubs on the trans tunnel, and I can't move the seat once it's installed. For this car I really need the ability to slide the seat forward/back, and a fixed seat is preferred. While the stock seats aren't horrible, mine has been falling backward under hard turning/acceleration, and is costing me at least one or two good runs every time I go to an event. Has anyone been successful with getting a seat this size to be sliding? Thanks in advance for any suggestions to help with my issue.

You don't have room on either side to modify seat position by drilling new seat mounting holes on those brackets....Unless you want to hack up the bolsters/foam/seat frame itself, you're SOL.
Aftermarket seat selection for the C5 is pretty abysmal due to cramped quarters.
I'm running Corbeau A4's and they are tight, but have a good sliding range of motion with the included brackets.
Yeah, the PO of my car had aftermarket seats installed. Same issue, it jammed up if you scooted it forward. No problem for me, since I have long legs, but when I let my fiance take it for a spin around the parking lot, she couldn't reach to press the clutch all the way down. haha
I ended up getting stock seats since I DD this car. They're more comfortable, but have been a huge headache with sliding, rocking, and worn foam.
Okay, thanks all. There is one thing Mark suggested I try with shifting over the mount for the front rail to the left a bit, I'll give that a shot but I don't know if it will be enough. We'll see.
Thanks to Mark at Marrad, he gave me help with how to slightly modify the bracket. I had to drill a new hole for the cross brace, but it worked out great and I got the front to shift over slightly. I did have to drill the new hole for the cross brace because the factory hole to the outside driver's side was too close now to the slider, and the head of the allen screw was rubbing on the slider stopping it from moving. I pulled it in and down about a half inch, which allowed it to slide freely again. Really, REALLY happy. Thanks to him for giving me the suggestion!
