Last winter I replaced the clutch (Monster 2) rebuilt the torque tube and rear diff I also replaced the slave cylinder as well. This winter new engine so I thought I better recheck the slave cylinder measurement since I had to shim it last time. The measurements good 1.74 but I noticed when I pulled the spring off that there was a plastic lip on the inside of the release bearing that had a missing section. Is this going to be a problem?

if you already have everything out and you can physically see that something is broken why not just get a new one?... the part isn't very expensive compared to the labor you will have to go through later on if you reinstalled it and it didn't work properly... just my opinion

Exactly what I was thinking even if it’s good might as well replace while it’s apart and be done with it no need to chance it
