Default Plug Wires?

Hi people, looking for a good set of plug wires, found ACDelco high performance 8mm and MSD wire set 8.5mm, anything better?

The AC Delco's are highly recommended around these parts. That's what I used.

If you're using headers, get a set of Kevlar socks as well.

Is there a part number? I have seen a couple different sets, is there an 8.5mm set?

From what I've read on the subject, the difference between 8mm and 8.5mm wires can sometimes be somewhat subjective. The GMPP wires are excellent.

You also might want to look at the Hinson wires. I got mine on Amazon. They were 20 dollars cheaper and had better reviews than the GMPP wires so I gave them a try. You can also reuse the stock heat shields. So far I really like them

I went with the MSD 8.5mm wires and DEI titanium boot protectors.

You will get varying opinions between the GMPP wires and MSD, both of which are good, but I went with MSD as they have always worked great for me on other vehicles and race cars plus they have lower resistance which means more spark energy will reach the plugs.
