If your car is otherwise stock, there should be no additional drone with our Street system, but once you start getting into headers, cams/porting and other mods, the sound of the exhaust will be affected. This is something that is true for any exhaust system.
Notice the operative deflection there: ‘there should be’. IF they are a factory rep, why the hedge? Lots of anecdotal should/would/could in that statement. The only completely drone free exhausts that I’ve seen is Corsa and GM Z06 Ti’s.

Wrong. Corsa's don't drone. I'm cammed with ARH Headers, no cats and a Corsa Xtreme catback and I have ZERO drone. It's just very very loud.
Any car I've ridden in that has a Magnaflow on it has droned. Sometimes so bad it makes you almost sick.
I know this is an older thread, but I want to thank all those that shared their knowledge and experience in this thread and many others as well. Newer Corvette owners like myself glean a lot of knowledge from the rest of you without having to find out the hard way as much, and I really appreciate that. I love the magnaflow sound but I do not want any drone, especially since my car is a convertible. . I'm most likely going to get the Corsa Sports because the Xtremes are a little too loud for my taste and the sports leave me some room to grow if I decide to get headers, X-pipe, etc. The drone from the magnaflows and the volume from the Corsa Xtremes would be a lot to deal with on road trips and long drives in the mountains here in Utah, especially when I put the top down.
