Default 97 m6 "pull key wait 10sec" after Lcm5 install

Good evening everyone
i am relatively new to the c5 community as i have recently purchased a 97 Torch Red coupe ( i have in the past ls swapped other cars so im very familiar with gm wiring and ls1s in general), it was basically stock other than a Borla stinger axle back. it has approx 100k on the clock. over the winter i went through it pretty thoroughly, mostly maintenance stuff, shocks, sway bar bushings and links and tires. I also did longtubes (JBA) and Dorman ls2 intake with ls2 throttle body and and Volant CAI. anyway this vehicle never gave me any issues with the column lock, but since i wanted the piece of mind about it not messing up, i recently installed the lcm5, now if the car sits for more than a few hours i get the "pull key and wait 10 sec" message i have not tried to drive it to see if the fuel shuts off, i simply shut off and restart the vehicle and the issue is resolved. Battery is brand new (AC delco) and i have removed and cleaned EVERY ground on the vehicle, as far i can see the "Brown Wire mod" doesn't work on my 97 6 speed as i don't have a column lock relay , maybe i'm mistaken on that part, just curious if anyone else has expierenced this issue on a 97, every other post about lcm5 install issues seems to center on the "brown wire mod". thanks
