torque tube c5
can anyone tell me on a C5 automatic is the torque tube spinning at idle getting a metal to metal clicking noise at rear of car and noise excels as it is in gear while raising idle.......

Yes the prop shaft spins all of the time while the car is running. The torque converter is on the front of the transmission in the rear of the car. There are lots of threads on rebuilding the torque tube. They make some strange noises when the flex discs start to come apart.
